Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada for the role as Bo. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She is the daughter of Peter an academic as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actor, director, producer, playwright and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories of playing rehearsals with her mom. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials while she was young. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Silk is known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was awarded a nomination by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. Silk was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, on the television show Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans her good information that she was pregnant on the set of Season 3 in an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase in an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the show's premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples ever. E!
